I searched for beach houses, made at least a dozen offers, and was outbid every single time. Nothing stuck. Finally, someone said something simple but powerful: “Why don’t you put your lists together?” So, we did. We went to see the very first property that appeared on our combined search. The moment we arrived, something felt different. That evening, a friend remembered my daughter’s old drawing journal. She asked Sierra to go get it. When Sierra opened it, I was covered in goosebumps. There it was: a barn with a loft above it. A horse corral to the right. An arena just beyond.
